Piston dimensions:

  • lenght: 65mm
  • diameter: 15mm

Note! It is possible that different brake master cylinders have been installed on the same motorcycle model: it is always advisable to disassemble the OEM brake master cylinder to check the dimensions of the pistons and compare the internal parts with those in the kit.

The manufacturer's piston seems to be 75mm instead of 65mm and the difference I can notice is the base of the spring which is 1cm longer in OEM part. Do you know of such a difference? Is it safe to buy it for my 15mm diameter Magura master cylinder?

As far as we know this is the only Magura service kit suitable for BMW front brake master cylinder 15mm; I can also tell you that since we sell it we have not received any negative feedback or any news about incompatibility with the model listed in the product fitment chart.
