This is a though question to answer since it may vary a lot depending on the use of the bike; it may never discolor or start changing color on the first motorcycle ride. For example, if you leave the bike parked with engine on in Sicily on the 15th of August for 30 minutes it may starts to turn color. This applies in general to exhaust systems of every brand with chrome manifolds but for this particular Marving exhaust system for Honda GL 1100 Goldwing is a bit different; it is produced with black powder coated exhaust manifolds and chrome plated mufflers so it does not undergo the classic color change typical of chrome manifolds.
